Wasiu Tejuoso, Ph.D

A young, vibrant, energetic, visionary academic and astute researcher in Mass Communication of 24 productive years, Wasiu Tejuoso is a self-motivated and enthusiastic mass communication teacher, trainer, researcher and scholar whose research interest pivots majorly on Advertising and Marketing Communications, yet covers print journalism studies, mass media and society, communication theories, mass media research and new/digital media. He has graciously enjoyed a successive and non-stop academic sojourn of reading, writing and researching in mass communication, leading to the award of six higher academic degrees between 1996 and 2019 in Nigeria.

With determination and strong vitality, Dr. Tejuoso has significantly proved his research ability and academic ingenuity at all levels of his academic scholarship. More importantly, in his over two decades of academic sojourn, he has successfully published over thirty five (35) academic papers in reputable national and international journals and has been appreciably cited on Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar among other notable academic cites. Dr. Tejuoso also enjoy virtual presence on ResearchGate and Academic.edu.

Wasiu Tejuoso, Ph.D has published creditably well across the field of Media and Communication with particular emphasis on advertising and culture. A registered member of several professional bodies, including: International Association of Media and Communication Researchers (IAMCR), USA; International Institute of Advertising Facilitators (IIAF), UK; Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), and Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) among others.

Wasiu Tejuoso now connect his knowledge and skills in the field of marketing communications, and mass communication in general with community development via his membership of the Lions Club International, a non-profit and community service organisation (www.lionsclubs.org).
